Ways to Give

From it's inception in 1965, Palo Alto County Hospital has grown into a modern, efficient medical facility, serving patients and their families throughout this region, regardless of the patients ability to pay. But like many other rural hospitals, Palo Alto County Hospital faces challenges each day to maintain up-to-date equipment and technology in the rapidly changing health care arena. Leaders in our community have made efforts to ensure and maintain our high quality health care delivery system and to provide the hospital services and programs that are needed to care for our children, our grandchildren, our elderly, and ourselves, despite the threatening trends affecting hospitals nationwide.

Therefore, in 1990, the Palo Alto County Health Care Foundation was established to ensure the future of quality health care in Palo Alto County. The fund, established with the donations of county residents, will be held in perpetuity. Interest earnings will be drawn upon to meet the increasing health care costs essential to keeping quality health care in Palo Alto County. To insure the funds are used properly and according to the wishes of benefactors, the foundation is governed by its own board of directors.
