Vegetarian Chili Pot

1 c instant brown rice
1 can black beans, drained and rinsed (15 ½  oz)
1 can diced tomatoes (15 oz)
1 c water
3 Tbsp dried minced onion
½ tsp chili powder
½ tsp oregano
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp salt

Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized microwave container.  Cover and microwave on high for 12 minutes.  ( I cook on top of stove. )  Stir and serve hot.
