Introduction

Due to increasing demands upon industry to be accountable to employee health needs, rising workers' compensation, and health care costs, Palo Alto County Health System (PACHS) has created a Business Health Service (BHS) department. Our BHS department provides a range of educational, consultation and nursing services for businesses in northwest Iowa.

The BHS's aim is to provide individual companies with services tailored to fit their needs.

Customizing services is especially important to smaller industries or those just initiating business health services.

Our staff will provide timely, accessible, and professional service. Additionally, hospital and physician services, physical and occupational therapy, lab, x-ray, and respiratory therapy are available to the BHS on a contract basis. The BHS department has an established, working relationship with all medical personnel affiliated with the hospital and clinics.
